These terms explain how PackPlay Premium subscriptions are bought, renewed, cancelled and refunded. They are part of the Terms of Service. PackPlay is operated by Alihan Kuru; contact [email protected].
1. Plans and payment
- Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription with a monthly plan and a yearly plan. There is no free trial, and PackPlay does not currently sell one-time purchases.
- You can subscribe only in the iOS app through the Apple App Store or in the Android app through Google Play. The website does not sell subscriptions.
- Prices and currencies depend on the store and your country. The price, period and renewal terms shown in the app and on the store's confirmation screen at the time you buy are the ones that apply.
- The store charges your Apple Account or Google Account when you confirm the purchase. PackPlay never receives your payment details. If the store reports a payment as pending, Premium starts once the store confirms it.
- You do not need to link your account to Apple or Google before buying; a guest account can subscribe. Premium then belongs to that guest account (see section 4).
2. What Premium includes
- No ads: while Premium is active, the app does not show the ads it otherwise shows during and between games. Optional reward videos are not part of this benefit: where the app offers a video you can choose to watch, for example for an extra hint, it can offer it to Premium players too. Watching one is never required.
- Premium game packs: you can play and host game packs marked Premium in the app. Which packs, if any, are marked Premium is shown in the app; this benefit does not include packs that are not available.
- Premium avatars: you can choose the preset avatars marked Premium. An avatar you choose while subscribed stays available to you after Premium ends; Premium avatars you never chose while subscribed are not unlocked for you.
- Rooms you host: when you host a room with a Premium game pack, the other players in that room can play that pack in that room. They do not get a subscription, Premium outside that room, or your cosmetics.
3. Auto-renewal and price changes
- The monthly plan renews every month and the yearly plan every year until you cancel.
- App Store: Apple may charge the renewal up to 24 hours before the new period starts, so cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to make sure you are not charged again.
- Google Play: cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- If the price changes, the store tells you in advance. Depending on the store, your country and the size of the change, the store either asks you to agree to the new price — and the subscription ends at the end of the paid period if you do not — or notifies you and renews at the new price unless you cancel before then.
- If a renewal payment fails, the store may keep your access for a grace period while it retries. Premium ends if the store reports that the subscription has expired.
4. Your account, devices and platforms
- Premium is linked to the PackPlay account you are signed in to when you buy, and you can use it on supported iOS and Android devices signed in to that same account.
- A guest account exists only on the device where it was created. To use Premium on another device, link the guest account to Apple or Google in the app's account settings (before or after buying) and sign in with that service on the other device. If you lose access to a guest account that was never linked, contact us.
- A subscription bought in one store is managed only in that store. If you subscribe in both the App Store and Google Play, those are two separate subscriptions, each billed by its own store; cancelling one does not cancel the other.
5. Cancelling
Cancel in the store you bought from. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- iPhone or iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › PackPlay › Cancel Subscription — see Apple's instructions.
- Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions — see Google's instructions.
- In the app, the Premium screen has a Manage subscription link to the store's subscription settings.
Important: deleting your PackPlay account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the store, or the store will keep charging you.
6. Refunds
- Payments are taken by Apple or Google, so refund requests go through the store you bought from:
- App Store: reportaproblem.apple.com › "Request a refund" — see Apple's instructions. PackPlay cannot issue App Store refunds.
- Google Play: follow Google Play's refund policies. Google also lets the developer issue refunds, so you can write to us about a Google Play purchase as well.
- Whether a refund is given is decided under the store's policies and the law that applies to you. If a refund is given, Premium for that purchase ends when the store reports the refund.
- Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, including any right of withdrawal that applies to you. Accepting these terms does not by itself waive such a right.
7. Restoring purchases
- If Premium does not show on a device, sign in to the same PackPlay account and the same Apple Account or Google Account you bought with, then tap Restore purchases on the Premium screen.
- Restoring while signed in to a different PackPlay account can move Premium to that account, and the account that had it loses it. Restore on the account you want Premium on.
- If a valid purchase is still not recognised, contact us with the store and the approximate purchase date. Do not send card details.
8. Account deletion and suspension
- Deleting your account ends your access to Premium on PackPlay but does not cancel the store subscription; cancel it in the store first. The account deletion page explains what is deleted.
- If your account is suspended under the Community Guidelines, you cannot sign in or use Premium while the suspension lasts, and the store subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it. Questions about billing, refunds or remaining paid access in that case are handled under the Terms of Service, the store's procedures and mandatory consumer law.
9. Contact
For help with Premium, restoring purchases or a Google Play refund request, write to [email protected]. Billing and cancellation stay with the store you subscribed through.
