This Policy sets out PackPlay's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation. It is published under Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applies to the PackPlay apps and website. PackPlay is operated by Alihan Kuru.
1. Our standards and scope
PackPlay prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual coercion and any other conduct that endangers children. In this Policy a child or minor means a person under 18. These protections apply even though the minimum age to use PackPlay is lower than 18.
This Policy applies to conduct through PackPlay, including usernames and display names, rooms, invitations, friend features, pranks, and support or reporting tools. PackPlay uses preset avatars and has no profile photo uploads, no profile bio and no user-to-user text or voice chat, and it does not currently offer adult-only (18+) content packs. The absence of these features does not permit using other features to exploit or target a child. Conduct outside PackPlay may be considered where it has a meaningful connection to the safety of PackPlay users.
This Policy complements our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Creating, requesting, possessing for unlawful purposes, distributing, promoting or pointing to child sexual abuse material, including prohibited synthetic or computer-generated material.
- Sexually exploiting or sexualising a child, making sexual requests to a child, or attempting sexual contact or exploitation through the service.
- Grooming: building trust or using gifts, rewards, status or friendship to manipulate a child for sexual exploitation.
- Sextortion, blackmail, threats or pressure involving a child's intimate material, personal information or safety.
- Using names, invitations, friend requests or other features to move a child to another platform or to an in-person meeting for exploitation or another harmful purpose.
- Trafficking, physical abuse, serious psychological abuse, or encouraging dangerous acts involving children.
- Impersonating a child or a trusted adult to facilitate exploitation, or getting around restrictions imposed to protect a child.
A child is never to blame for being exploited. Asking for help, making a good-faith report, or describing a concern without spreading abusive material is never a violation.
3. Age eligibility
PackPlay is intended for users aged 13 or older, or older where local law sets a higher minimum age, subject to the parental-permission conditions in our Terms of Service. A child below the applicable minimum age must not use the service.
PackPlay does not ask for a date of birth and does not claim that users' ages are verified. A stated age limit or parental-permission clause does not replace any age assurance, parental authorisation or advertising protection that the law requires. If you believe a child who is not allowed to use PackPlay has an account, contact us so we can assess the concern and take appropriate action.
4. How to report a concern
- In the app: use "Report" on the player's profile or in the room's player menu. Choose the Child safety reason and, if you like, add details. You can block the player in the same step.
- E-mail: write to [email protected] with the subject "PackPlay Child Safety". This is also PackPlay's child-safety point of contact for questions from users and authorities.
Where you can, tell us the account or username, the room, the approximate time and what happened. You do not need to prove the whole case before reporting; share only what is reasonably needed to find and assess the incident.
Do not download, forward or attach suspected child sexual abuse material to your report. Describe where you saw it instead. Do not investigate by contacting a suspected offender or by asking a child for intimate material.
Blocking a player hides your profiles from each other and stops friend requests, invitations and pranks between you, but it does not remove information from shared game results or leaderboards. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or police. PackPlay support is not an emergency service and does not monitor activity continuously.
5. Review and protective action
Reports are reviewed by a person using the information available, and we may ask for clarification. PackPlay has no automated age detection, no content-scanning system and no dedicated round-the-clock moderation team.
When we find a violation or a credible risk to a child, we act within the capabilities of the service and the law. The account action available today is suspension, which signs the account out on every device and stops it from signing in; an account found sexually exploiting children is suspended with no planned end date. Serious risks may call for immediate action without advance notice. A good-faith report alone is not proof that the reported person committed an offence.
Where the law requires it, we report suspected exploitation or abuse to the competent authorities or designated reporting body, including NCMEC where that reporting duty applies; not every report in every country goes to the same organisation. We may preserve and disclose relevant records where the law requires it or it is otherwise lawfully justified, with appropriate limits and safeguards.
Information in reports is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We cannot promise absolute confidentiality or anonymity, and we may limit what we share about an investigation to protect children, privacy, security or lawful proceedings.
6. For younger players and parents
Do not share passwords, private contact details, intimate material, or where you live or go to school. Stop any interaction that makes you uncomfortable, use the report and block tools, and tell an adult you trust. You never have to go along with threats or with requests to keep something secret.
Parents and guardians should review the age conditions, talk about safe online play, and help younger players understand what other players can see on a profile and how to report. PackPlay does not currently offer a parental dashboard and cannot guarantee that every unsafe interaction will be prevented.
7. External reporting resources
For suspected online child sexual exploitation, NCMEC runs the CyberTipline, and the INHOPE network lists national hotlines for reporting child sexual abuse material. What they cover varies by country. They do not replace local emergency services or police when a child is in immediate danger.
8. Appeals, updates and contact
If you think an account action is wrong, write to [email protected] with the subject "PackPlay Moderation Appeal", your username (or the e-mail of the Apple or Google account you sign in with) and a short explanation. Appeals are reviewed by a person. Do not include passwords or any suspected abusive material. An appeal does not guarantee reinstatement and does not pause action needed to protect a child.
We may update this Policy as our features, risks or legal requirements change; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we give further notice where required.
